Privacy &
cookies.

1. Who is responsible

NYTSIFT operates nytsift.com. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@nytsift.com.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use NYTSIFT, we may process account and organiser details, event submissions, contact information, transaction and order information when ticketing is enabled, affiliate or influencer information, support correspondence, security logs, IP address, device/browser information, and consent choices.

3. Why we process information

We process information to operate and secure the service, provide accounts and organiser tools, publish and manage events, respond to enquiries, administer orders and payments when enabled, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve NYTSIFT. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate interests such as platform security and service administration, or be based on your consent. Optional cookies and similar technologies are not activated before the relevant consent where consent is required.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

NYTSIFT uses necessary browser storage for core functions such as remembering your consent choice. Optional categories are Preferences, Analytics, External media and Marketing. External media includes third-party embeds such as YouTube. These embeds are blocked until you enable External media. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.

Cookie and similar-technology information should identify the technology, provider, purpose and duration. As integrations are added, NYTSIFT's live cookie declaration must be updated to match the technologies actually deployed.

6. Recipients and service providers

Information may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, email, payment, event-data and other service providers used to operate NYTSIFT. Stripe processes payment and payout data when native ticketing is used; NYTSIFT does not store complete card details. Event links may take you to third-party ticket providers. If you choose to load third-party media, that provider may receive technical information from your browser under its own privacy terms.

7. International transfers

If a provider processes personal data outside the EEA, NYTSIFT will use an applicable transfer mechanism and safeguards where required by GDPR.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including contractual, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal requirements. Retention periods differ by data category.

9. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. Contact hello@nytsift.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

10. Children

NYTSIFT is an event-discovery service and is not intentionally designed to collect personal data from children. Individual events may have their own age restrictions, which are set by organisers or venues.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the service, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
